2025 Homestead
for the Holidays

During the excitement of the winter holiday season, the MS Ag Museum will host its Homestead for the Holidays event. Held Thursday & Friday, December 11 & 12, 2025, the Ag Museum will be open from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. for this joy-filled holiday event.

2026 Spring Farm Days
March 5-7, 2026

This three day event is a wonderful opportunity to come out and see the Ag Museum come to life! Enjoy cooking demonstrations by the MS Egg Marketing Board, learn about Farmstead life and gardening, and make sure to see the large farm and forestry equipment display! We will also have baby chicks, chickens, and other farm animals.

2026 Easter at the
Ag Museum

Experience family fun as you and your children ages 2-17 follow the tracks through the Ag Museum’s bunny trail to collect candy and toy-filled eggs for your children’s baskets! Explore Small town, take selfies with the Easter Bunny, visit the new Children’s Barnyard, dye eggs, play games, and enjoy complimentary hotdogs provided by the MS Beef Council.

2026 Pickle Fest

This family-friendly event is a great outing that the whole family will enjoy. Along with the usual attractions, like our small town General Store, visitors can expect games, children’s activities and everything pickle-related happening throughout the 2-day event.

Visitors can purchase a ticket that will allow you to visit ALL FOUR museums and participate in the Mississippi Science Fest!
The 10th Annual Mississippi Science Fest (MSF), presented by C Spire, is a family-fun event hosted by the 4 museums in the LeFleur Museum District in Jackson, Mississippi
MSF showcases science, technology, engineering, and mathematic (STEM) industries, organizations, and innovation happening across the state. MSF aims to engage students, families, adults, and educators in a fun and interactive learning environment that promotes science education and workforce development.

 Your adventure will include a hayride around the grounds of the AG Museum which will drop you off for a yummy snack. Feel free to explore Small Town, Mississippi, visit the General Store and tour the Heritage Center Gallery. On your way out, stop by the Pumpkin Patch and choose your very own pumpkin to take home with you! Join us for Pumpkin Adventure 2026!

2026 Harvest Fest
November 3-7, 2026

Small Town Mississippi comes to life each day with live demonstrations throughout the museum grounds. Visitors will get a glimpse of Mississippi’s past and show the impact agriculture has made on our lives. Demonstrations will include the operation of the Cotton Gin, Saw Mill, Cane Mill, Print Shop, Blacksmith Shop and More! Stop by the General Store or the Filling Station for snacks and souvenirs.
